Artist's Comments 4:29 PM --------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is about as dark as any of my work is going to get. (I think) Anyways, this came to me in a dream like wake I had the other day. I was trying to figure out what photomanip I want to do next. I started looking at the list and couldn't think of anything right away, but my dream brought me the idea. It's kind of scary to me, but it's what I wanted. Well, almost. In my original idea it was an alarm bell in her mouth. When I went to do it in Photoshop, it just looked like a gold lemon. So, I went to my husband for advice. He said to make a cuckoo bird clock and put a bird in her mouth. But when I did that the bird took all the attention away from the eyes...which I intended to be the main focus. In the end, it just ended up with more cogs.
