Inspiration

This is the second of my photo's for my Photography II class. I particularly like this one. My teacher however had problems with it because he said the rose petals neither added nor took away from the picture, therefore there was no point to having them in there.
I myself thought it was ingenious and was very proud of myself for thinking about it. The rose used in the picture was the rose I was given at my grandmother's funeral a few weeks back and I feel like I found a great purpose for it. I think she would be proud.
